An Invitation to STEP UP TO THE PLATE

Every major undertaking has started by someone STEPPING UP TO THE PLATE.  Someone who had a dream and did not stop until it was made a reality. Our Glorious Being Center is committed to making a difference in the lives of 100 orphaned children in Ghana. 

Heather Arouh and Joy Vodofsky boldly stepped up to the plate by volunteering their time, money and talent in an orphanage in Ghana, Africa.  Gloria Ramirez stepped up to the plate by founding the non-for-profit organization, Glorious Being Center in 2004 to empower children and individuals through education.  Glorious Being Center Board Members, A. K. Tosu, Nancy Mathews, Bancroft Mahoney and Vince Toran and an extraordinary team of volunteers have answered the call by volunteering their time, talent and contributions to help empower children and women to greatness.

Due to the very deplorable conditions that these children live in, Glorious Being Center Board of Directors and volunteers have committed to raise the funds and seek support to build them a new home.  This is what we call the “Outer Building”: a safe and healthy place for them to grow up.  We have also committed to providing an “Inner Building,” which has the goal of permanently shifting the poverty mentality from the inside out.  We envision creating leaders of the world by empowering these children to greatness and a life of prosperity, which they deserve.
