A Message from Glorious Being Center Vice President , Joy Vodofsky

After my daughter Julia passed away from leukemia at the age of 12, I began to search for a way to deal with the deep grief and pain. The search lead me to Gilda’s club, a cancer support community, which helps families facing similar situations.

After several years of volunteering at Gilda’s Club, “Dancing From The Heart” was created to raise money for “Julia’s Fund 4 Kids”, a fund designated for programs enabling the children who were going through difficult times an opportunity to have fun, so they hearts could continue to dance.

Now I am committed to giving orphaned children an opportunity to live better lives, so their hearts can continue to dance. I recently traveled to Ghana, Africa where I volunteered at The Potters Village (formerly WORCSA) Orphanage. Upon my return I made the commitment to give these 77 orphaned children and abused women the opportunity to have a better life. I decided to join forces with Glorious Being Center to create a pilot program that will be duplicated all over the world.

It is my dream to touch as many children’s lives as possible. I am asking you, from the bottom of my heart, to join our vision to “Empower Children and Women to Greatness”, in order to keep their spirits alive!

Julia you are still dancing through the hearts of those  you loved and those who love you!
