Glorious Being Center, a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization founded in 2004 is dedicated to “Empowering Children and Women to Greatness.”
Glorious Being Center’s mission is to provide solutions to help the children of the world rise from poverty by providing safe and sustainable housing and food, along with a program of education for their ‘inner building’ to end the vicious cycle that has kept them impoverished.

invites you to join us in making a difference in the lives of 100 children in Ghana, Africa
Our Mission Is Two-Fold:
(I) Outer Building: To provide safe and sanitary living conditions that includes sustainable food supplies using the “permaculture” design system – you can read about it at www.gbcenter.org
(II) Inner Building: A system that provides the children an empowering educational curriculum that creates a winning and positive mentality. This will enable them to develop their full potential and realize a better future.
This mission will result in a ripple effect beyond the walls of their new residence into the surrounding community.

PROJECT UPDATE
A group of Glorious Being Center Board Members, just returned home from Ghana, Africa after spending two weeks working on the development of our project there. We are excited to share the miraculous outcome of this trip. Here is what we accomplished in just a short period of time:
1. 10+ acres of land have been donated in the Volta Region of Ghana by the Bissi family to build the residence for the children.
2. We were fortunate enough to visit and meet the Director of The Permaculture Institute of Ghana, Mr. Paul Yeboah, and were able to witness a permaculture site in operation. We are very grateful that Mr. Yeboah has agreed to donate his services to design the land based on the permaculture system. He is also providing the blueprints for the residence.
3. We added to our team Mr. Gracious Legacy Bissi, an organic farming expert who lives in Dodowa, Ghana. Mr. Paul Yeobah generously gifted Legacy with a two-week training on permaculture design and product development. He is now a Certified Permaculture Designer and has agreed to be our Permaculture Manager. Watch this video and imagine the amazing possibilites for our kids.
4. We spent time with our Project Manager”, Kofi Amos, who resides in Accra, Ghana. Based on our interactions with him, we are very impressed and confident with the work he is doing in Ghana on our behalf.
5. We built a relationship with prominent journalist, Solomon Ofori from the Daily Guide Newspaper, Ghana. An article was published on the 8th of December, 2011 about our “inner building’ work.
6. We established several important relationships while we were in Ghana, including a meeting at the United States Embassy in Ghana. We also met with the Minister of Women and Children’s affairs, Honorable, Mrs. Juliana Azumah-Mensah, who was very impressed with our project.
7. We took all 78 children on a very special outing on a motor coach bus. We went to the Shai Hills Reserve park. The children had a great time. Our project manager’s wife cooked home-made lunch for all the children and adults that came.
